Breakthrough study shows new bone formation with Moroxite F’s Biomodulation concept

A clinical feasibility study, conducted in collaboration with researchers from Sweden, Lithuania, Germany, and China, have yielded promising results. Published in Acta Biomaterialia, these findings demonstrate Moroxite F’s concept’s efficacy in enhancing bone formation and implant anchorage in osteoporotic patients.

In the study, patients received a hydroxyapatite and calcium sulphate based ceramic bone substitute injection around the implant, followed by an injection of a bisphosphonate drug.

The findings are an important step in the proof-of-concept of Moroxite F’s FARE products (Fracture Anchorage and REgeneration) for hip and spine fracture fixation.

Moroxite F is addressing a significant need: approximately 200 million people worldwide suffer from osteoporosis, with 124,000 fractures annually in Sweden alone.
